Our Process
You and I will have our initial interior design consultation in your home where I will see the space, take photos and gather measurements. We'll talk about your likes, dislikes, what you need and want, fabrics, furnishings, DIY projects and how to make the most of what you already have. My goal is for you to have a space that looks pulled together, but still reflects you.
After the consultation, I’ll ask you to email photos of interiors that you like so I can get a visual sense of the feel you would like to achieve. If I am designing an entire room for you, we will then decide on a space plan and I’ll produce a rendering. After this is finalized, I’ll make a story board of furniture, colors and textures to set the feel of the room. We will then take the information from the space plan to aid us in choosing the size of furniture, and we use the look of the storyboard to help guide the style of the pieces. Shopping can be done either online or together at a store. If you are on a budget, you can email links of items you have found online for my approval or opinion.
