Alameda Drive - Austin, Texas

Interior Design Services – Kitchen Remodel, Master Bath Remodel, Small Bath Remodel, Custom Furniture and Drapery Throughout.

This project was a full home remodel that took place in a bungalow style home in beautiful Austin neighborhood of Travis Heights. The inspiration for achieving this look was inspired by the Brad Pitt film, “Tree of Life,” and homes in Cape Cod. Our clients are a family from Mexico who often visit Austin for business, and we were happy to design this lovely second home so they can decompress after business is done for the day.

We filled the house with almost all custom-designed furnishings by SSID, as well as all custom drapery. It’s hard to play favorites, but we had the most fun working on the “cigar room.” Beautiful wool Ralph Lauren drapes and a vintage DeSede leather sofa made this room feel more like a retreat than other spaces in the home. This added a little jazz to the “home away from home” we were happy to make it happen.
