What I’ve Been Up To This Summer
It has been a long time since my last blog post. I’ve been pretty busy – quite a bit has happened and I want to fill you in on everything.
My South Padre Island Project has been published on lots of blogs around the world including Desire to Inspire and Apartment Therapy, it will be included in a book next year and it was recently published in a Brazilian magazine, Revista Living.
I’ve started on a couple of projects, even one in Monterrey, Mexico. I flew out there and worked with the client on creating custom furniture. It was so much fun, almost everything in the spaces I’m working in will be custom. Here is a little sneak peak of the media room. The floors are made of marble slabs, they are so pretty.
I also started working on a home in Travis Heights, it is a 30s bungalow and we are ripping out all of the bathrooms, the kitchen counters and tile, flooring etc. Here’s a little glimpse of the look we are going after for the bathrooms. The space below was designed by Brennan and Company Architects. Ours will not have beadboard on the wall, it’ll be covered in handmade Fireclay Tile…yippee!
I’m also working on a full home in the Shoal Creek area. Here are a few boards, one for the living and the other for the dining. This home should be ready in about 6 or so weeks.
That’s about it, other than hiring a design assistant, office manager and moving into a new studio space! The space will be ready within a month or so, I’m still working on a design for it, but the theme will be black, white, wood and brass.
Drop me a line if you are looking to hire a designer. Please give us a call at (512) 687-3498 or shoot us a message at firstname.lastname@example.org. I’ve been lusting after this exposed shower head and vanity for the last week and would love to use them! Perhaps in a matte gold.
